Finding Related Firms
Blackstone has multiple investment advisor entities. Some of them have Blackstone in the name, such as Blackstone Real Estate Advisors. Others do not have Blackstone in the name, such as GSO Capital Partners LP, their credit arm. We match firms to be related, if a combination of their phone number, address, and directors match. The data gets more complicated when looking at foreign entities, such as Candriam's offices in Belgium, Luxemborg, and France. AUM 13F also sorts search results by AUM and shows more per page than IAPD, making it easier to find the one you want, when the names are all similar to each other.
