Item 5: Fees and Compensation

See Item 6 below. All management fees for the private funds and managed accounts are paid
quarterly and deducted from clients’ accounts. The management fee for the UCITS sub-fund is
calculated on a monthly basis and invoiced to the client.

Item 7: Types of Clients

The Adviser provides discretionary investment advisory services to domestic and offshore
private funds, managed accounts, and a UCITS sub-fund. Investors in the private funds and
managed account clients include individuals, pension and profit-sharing plans, trusts, charitable
organizations, corporations, business entities, endowments and foreign sovereign wealth funds.

Each hedge fund has a minimum initial subscription requirement of $1 million, subject to the
discretion of the Adviser, or its affiliate, as the case may be, to accept lesser amounts. The
Adviser does not require a minimum dollar value of assets for starting or maintaining a managed
account or single-investor fund. The Adviser reserves the right to impose in the future a
minimum dollar value of assets or other conditions for starting and maintaining managed
accounts or single-investor funds.
