| Fees and Compensation — Form ADV Part 2A (3/23/2026) [Brochure] |

Item 5 - Fees and Compensation
The services to be provided to you and their specific fees will be detailed in your engagement agreement.
Published fees may be discounted at the discretion of our firm but they should not be considered
negotiable. We reserve the right to waive or reduce certain fees based on unique individual circumstances,
special arrangements or pre-existing relationships. Appian Way Financial strives to offer fees that are fair
and reasonable considering the experience of our firm and the services to be provided to you. Similar
services may be made available by other investment advisers at potentially a lesser fee.
Financial Planning Services
Hourly Fee
Appian Way Financial may be engaged for its financial planning services under an hourly fee arrangement.
The hourly rate is $250 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments and a partial increment (e.g., 12 minutes)
may be treated as a whole increment. Prior to entering into an agreement with the firm you will receive an
estimate of the overall cost based on your requirements and the time involved.

Fixed Fee
At our discretion we may offer you financial planning on a fixed fee basis, generally ranging from $500 to
$5,000. The fee takes into consideration factors such as the complexity of your financial profile, the depth of
services to be provided through the engagement, assets that comprise your overall portfolio, number of
individual accounts comprising the portfolio, whether you or our firm will implement the transactions for
your account(s), time involved in the engagement, among others, as well as whether the firm is being
engaged for broad-based services.
An initial deposit of up to $500 is required for our financial planning services, as defined in your agreement
Fees may be paid by check or teller’s draft from US-based financial institutions. With a client’s prior written
authorization, payment may also be made by credit or debit card through a qualified, unaffiliated PCI
compliant4 third-party processor, or withdrawal from their investment account held at their custodian of
record. We do not retain debit or credit card information. The firm does not accept cash, money orders or
similar forms of payment for advisory engagements. Fees are due as stated in your engagement agreement
with the firm, typically upon delivery of your plan or investment advice.
Investment Supervisory Services
Investment supervisory services clients are assessed an annualized asset-based fee that will be calculated
based on their account value(s) as of the last business day of each calendar quarter. These fees will be billed
quarterly, in advance, per the following fee table:
Assets Under Management Annualized Asset-Based Fee
$0 - $499,999 1.25% (125 basis points)
$500,000 - $2,999,999 1.00% (100 basis points)
$3,000,000 - Above 0.75% (75 basis points)
Quarterly Fee Formula: ((quarter’s end market value) x (applicable annualized basis points)) ÷ 4
Fee Example: An account maintaining $200,000 of investible assets will be assessed $625 (quarterly, in
advance). Formula: ($200,000 x 125 bps) = $2,500 (annualized fee) ÷ 4 (quarters) = $625 (quarterly fee).
For the benefit of discounting your asset-based fee, investment supervisory services accounts may be
aggregated for the same individual or two or more accounts within the same family, or accounts where a
family member has power of attorney over another family member’s or incompetent person's account.
Should investment objectives be substantially different for any two or more household accounts, and
requiring different investment approaches or operational requirements, the firm reserves the right to apply
the fee schedule separately to each account.
The fee is billed quarterly, in advance, and payments will generally be assessed within 15 calendar days of
the beginning of each billing cycle. Your first billing cycle will begin once your agreement is executed with
the firm and your assets have settled into your separately identifiable account held by the custodian of
record. Fees for partial quarters will be prorated based on the remaining days in the reporting period in
which Appian Way Financial services the account.
4 We do not retain debit/credit card data. We discourage the use of interest-bearing credit cards for the payment of ongoing advisory
fees. For an explanation of the term “PCI,” the PCI Security Standards Council, and comprehensive standards to enhance payment
card data security, go to https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/security_standards/index.php

Accounts will be assessed in accordance with the values disclosed on the statement you will receive from
your custodian of record for the purpose of verifying the computation of the advisory fee. In the rare
absence of a reportable market value, we may seek a third-party opinion from a recognized industry source
(e.g., public accounting firm), and you may choose to separately seek such an opinion as to the valuation of
“hard-to-price” securities if necessary.
Your written authorization is required for the custodian of record to deduct advisory fees from the account.
By signing our firm’s engagement agreement, as well as the custodian account documents, you are
authorizing the custodian to withdraw our advisory fee, and the custodian will remit our fees directly to our
