Item 5: Fees and Compensation A. IFP's standard charge for financial planning services is $150/hour. Fees for investment supervisory services are negotiable and are based upon (hourly charges) or (2) a percentage of assets under management or (3) a percentage of account gains, further described in Section 6 below as a "performance-based fee", and offered only to clients who are (a) natural persons with more than $1.1 million of assets under management with Advisor and/ or (b) natural persons or companies with more than $2.2 million of net worth, including assets held jointly with a spouse or (4) a fixed fee, agreed upon in advance by Advisor and Client or (5) a combination of the above. Clients may choose the method of compensation, subject to agreement with the Advisor. The standard percentage of assets under management charge is 0.25% per quarter for account assets up to $5 million, and 0.1875% for account assets between $5 million and $10 million, and 0.125% for assets above $10 million. Where applicable, the standard percentage of assets gains charged is 5.0% per annum. B. Hourly charges, percentage of assets under management fees, and fixed fees for investment supervisory services are invoiced to clients at the end of the calendar quarter during which services were performed, and are payable within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice. Clients may choose the method of compensation, subject to the agreement of Advisor. Percentage of assets under management fees are based upon the assets under management at the end of each calendar quarter. Percentage of account gains fees are invoiced at the end of each calendar year and are payable within thirty days of receipt of invoice. Fees are payable in arrears and within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice by client. If the client terminates the agreement for financial planning advice within five (5) calendar days of the date agreement is signed, client shall receive a full refund of all fees paid with respect to the financial planning advice. IFP's agreement for investment supervisory services or financial planning advice or service may be terminated upon thirty (30) days written notice sent by certified, registered or any overnight delivery service by either party. However, all fees will be prorated and payable to the Advisor to the date of termination of the agreement. C. In addition to the fees described above, investment advisory clients of IFP will also incur brokerage fees with respect to investment trades placed with independent brokerage services. In addition, clients may incur fees in the event that mutual funds are held in client accounts. See Item 12 for additional information concerning brokerage fees and practices. D. IFP does not charge fees in advance of rendering services. E. IFP does not seek, charge or accept compensation from any other financial firms, including, but not limited to, banks, brokerages and insurance companies with respect to the sale of securities or other financial products. |
