Item 5: Fees and Compensation A. Fee Schedule Retirement Plan Services (ERISA and non-ERISA) Asset-Based Fees Asset-based fees are negotiable based on the scope and complexity of the services as well as the amount of time and expertise required but generally do not exceed 1.25%. BQS Advisors uses the value of the account that aligns with the custodian / recordkeeper, after taking into account deposits and withdrawals, for purposes of determining the market value of the assets upon which the advisory fee is based. These fees are generally negotiable and the final fee schedule will be memorialized in the client’s advisory agreement. Clients may terminate the agreement without penalty for a full refund of BQS Advisors’ fees within five business days of signing the Investment Advisory Contract. Thereafter, clients may terminate the pension consulting agreement generally with 30 days' written notice. Fixed Fees The rate for fixed fee plans is up to $250,000. The final fee schedule will be memorialized in the client’s advisory agreement. This service may be canceled with 30 days’ written notice. Hybrid Fees In certain circumstances, BQS Advisors may charge a hybrid fee structure that includes a combination of asset-based fees and fixed fees. This structure may be used depending on the scope and complexity of the services provided, the amount of time and expertise required, and the specific needs of the client relationship. Under this arrangement, a portion of the fee may be calculated as a percentage of assets under management, while another portion may be charged as a fixed fee. The asset-based component generally does not exceed 1.25%, and the fixed fee component generally does not exceed $250,000. The specific fee structure and schedule will be negotiated and memorialized in the client’s advisory agreement.
