Item 5 Fees and Compensation
Retirement Plan Consulting Services
Our advisory fees will be negotiated in advance with the plan sponsor or named fiduciary on a case-by-
case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors, including whether the services are discretionary
or non-discretionary, time, location, number of plan participants, nature of the services and
complexity. The specific manner in which we charge our fees and the amount of the annual fee is
established in each client's written agreement. Our retirement plan consulting fee is either billed and
payable in advance or in arrears, on a monthly or quarterly basis, as outlined in our agreement with
you.
In providing retirement plan consulting services to plan sponsors, Christensen Group Financial's
compensation will be based on a percentage of assets in the plan ("assets under advisement") or as a
fixed fee agreed to when executing our agreement. The plan sponsor at the beginning of the
engagement could elect to pay fees as
• A fixed fee of between $1,000 and $100,000; or
• An asset-based charge of between 5 and 75 basis points.
Fees based on a percentage of assets under advisement are charged based upon the market value of
all assets in the account at the end of the previous billing period per the agreement with the client.
Assets under advisement fees for a partial billing period at the commencement of an agreement will be
pro-rated based on the number of days the account was open during the month or quarter.
You can terminate the portfolio management agreement upon written notice. You will incur a pro rata
charge for services rendered prior to the termination of the agreement, which means you will incur
advisory fees only in proportion to the number of days in the quarter for which you are a client.
Individual Portfolio Management Services
Our fee for portfolio management services is based on a percentage of the assets in your account and
is set forth in the following annual fee schedule:
Annual Fee Schedule
AUM Fee schedule: blended rate billed monthly in arrears
Fee Tier Annual AUM Fee
$0-$1M 0.80%
$1M-$2M 0.70%
$2M-$3M 0.60%
$3M+ 0.50%
Our annual portfolio management fee is billed and payable monthly, in arrears, based on the average
daily balance. There is an annual minimum fee of $3,000.
If the portfolio management agreement is executed at any time other than the first day of a calendar
month or quarter, our fees will apply on a pro-rata basis, which means that the advisory fee is payable
in proportion to the number of days in the billing period for which you are a client. Our advisory fee is
negotiable, depending on individual client circumstances. Discounts, not generally available to our
advisory clients, could be offered to family members and friends of associated persons of our firm.
We will send you an invoice for the payment of our advisory fee, or we will deduct our fee directly from
your account through the qualified custodian holding your funds and securities. We will deduct our
advisory fee only when you have given our firm written authorization permitting the fees to be paid
directly from your account. Further, the qualified custodian will deliver an account statement to you at
least quarterly. These account statements will show all disbursements from your account. You should
review all statements for accuracy.
We encourage you to reconcile our invoices with the statement(s) you receive from the qualified
custodian. If you find any inconsistent information between our invoice and the statement(s) you
receive from the qualified custodian, call our main office number located on the cover page of this
brochure.
You can terminate the portfolio management agreement upon 30 days’ written notice to our firm. You
will incur a pro rata charge for services rendered prior to the termination of the portfolio management
agreement, which means you will incur advisory fees only in proportion to the number of days in the
quarter for which you are a client. If you have pre-paid advisory fees that we have not yet earned, you
will receive a prorated refund of those fees.
Financial Planning Fees
We charge a one-time fixed fee of $3,000 for financial planning services These planning fees are one-
time fixed fees where half is payable in advance and the other half upon completion. Fees are charged
in advance of the services rendered, upon completion of the services rendered, or a combination
thereof. Fees and fee-paying arrangements are negotiable and will be based on the scope and
complexity of the services to be provided. Fees for financial planning services are in addition to and
not in lieu of investment advisory fees. We will not require prepayment of a fee more than six months in
advance and in excess of $1200.
You can terminate the financial planning agreement by providing 30 days’ written notice to our firm.
You will incur a pro rata charge for services rendered prior to the termination of the agreement. If you
have pre-paid advisory fees that we have not yet earned, you will receive a prorated refund of those
fees.
Additional Fees and Expenses
As part of our investment advisory services to you, we can recommend that you include specific types
of investments in the plan's portfolio. The fees that you pay to our firm for investment advisory services
are separate and distinct from the fees and expenses charged by mutual funds or other investment
types as described in each investment type's prospectus or similar documents. These fees will
generally include a management fee and other expenses. To fully understand the total cost you will
incur, you should review all the fees charged by product sponsors/issuers, our firm, and others.

Item 7 Types of Clients We offer retirement plan consulting services to employee benefit plans and their fiduciaries including employer sponsored plans, 401(k), 403(b) and 457. We also offer investment advisory services to individuals, including high net worth individuals. In general, we do not require a minimum dollar amount to open and maintain an advisory account. However, we have the right to terminate your account if it falls below a minimum size which, in our sole opinion, is too small to manage effectively. |
