ITEM 5: FEES AND COMPENSATION
A. FEE SCHEDULE
ASSET MANAGEMENT
Expand Financial Group charges an asset-based fee for its Asset Management services. The annual fee
is based on a percentage of assets under management (AUM) and may vary depending on the client’s
specific financial needs, total assets, and the complexity of the services provided.
The maximum annual fee for this service is 2.00% of AUM, negotiable between the Adviser and the
client.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are deducted directly from the client’s custodial account(s)
quarterly in advance, based on the account value as of the last business day of the preceding quarter. In
limited circumstances, clients may be invoiced directly.
We will charge you a fee as indicated in your agreement, based upon the gross market value of your assets,
including cash allocations that are a part of our active management strategy, in the relevant accounts. The
value we will use for the calculation will be the value in the accounts as of the last day of the prior quarter.
Thereafter, adjustments are made to pro-rate fees for any deposits or withdrawals greater than $25,000
made during the prior quarter. Once the calculation is made, we will instruct your account custodian to
deduct the fee from your account and pay us. Clients whose fees are directly debited will provide written
authorization to debit advisory fees from their accounts. Clients will receive a statement directly from
their independent account custodian showing all transactions in their account, including the fee, and are
urged to compare this information to that of their advisory agreement or any other documentation that the
Firm provides to the client.
If you engage us during a billing quarter, the fees for that quarter will be pro-rated according to the number
of days left until the next quarter. If you terminate services during a quarter, you will be charged a fee for
the portion of the quarter which you were a client. In either case, we will calculate the total fee that would
be due for the quarter, divide the fee by the number of days in the quarter to arrive at a daily rate, count the
number of days the client was or will be a client during that quarter (as applicable) and multiply that
number by the daily rate.

FINANCIAL PLANNING AND CONSULTING
Expand Financial Group charges an hourly fee for financial consulting services or flat fee basis for
financial planning for assets not managed by the advisor. Flat fees will be based on the hourly rate and the
estimated number of hours to complete the service. Fees will vary based upon several factors. The total
estimated fee, as well as the ultimate fee charged, is based on the scope and complexity of our engagement
with the client. The maximum hourly fee to be charged will not exceed $350.
Alternatively, financial planning and consulting fees may be paid on a retainer basis monthly, quarterly,
or bi-annually based upon an estimated number of hours per period multiplied by the hourly fee. Retainer
fees are considered a prepayment of fees. Flat fees range from $500 to $10,000 for financial planning.
Fees may be paid in advance or arrears, as identified in your services agreement. However, prepayment
of fees of $1,200 or more, six months or more in advance of services rendered, shall not be permitted.
Payments may be made via Apple Pay, Zelle, checks and ACH. As noted herein, this fee is negotiable
based on the based upon the client’s particular needs and circumstances including, but not limited to, the
complexity of the client’s financial situation and the total estimated number of hours for Expand Financial
Group to complete the requested services. The fee-paying arrangements will be determined on a case-by-
case basis and will be detailed in the signed client agreement.
If no service is provided to the client, no fees will be charged during that month. If the service that is
provided does not meet the required hourly threshold, the amount due will be reduced according to the
service that was completed and any unearned fee will be refunded to the client. Financial planning fees
will be offset for related advisory services of assets being management by the Adviser.
