Item 5: Fees and Compensation
A. Fee Schedule
Portfolio Management Fees
Portfolio management fees are negotiable and generally do not exceed 1.50%.
The fee is a tiered/blended fee schedule, the asset management fee is calculated by
applying different rates to different portions of the portfolio. The advisory fee is calculated
using the value of the assets in the Account on the last business day of the prior billing
period (advance) or value of the assets in the Account on the last business day of the
billing period (arrears).
The final fee schedule will be memorialized in the client’s advisory agreement. Clients
may terminate the agreement without penalty for a full refund of Ascent's fees within five
business days of signing the Investment Advisory Contract. Thereafter, clients may
terminate the Investment Advisory Contract generally with 10 days' written notice.
DST Consulting Fees
Ascent charges a flat, one-time advisory fee for clients engaging in a Delaware Statutory
Trust (DST) investment. This fee is not based on product commissions or assets under
management, but instead reflects the depth of planning, due diligence, and professional
coordination provided by Ascent.

Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Ascent receives no commissions or compensation
from DST sponsors, ensuring our advice remains fully independent and fiduciary.
Fees are collected at the time of engagement or placement recommendation. Where
permitted and compliant, Ascent may arrange to have the advisory fee paid at the closing
of the DST investment.
