Item 5: Fees and Compensation
A. Fee Schedule
Portfolio Management Fees
Total Assets Under Management Annual Fees
All Assets 1.00%
HRWM uses an average of the daily balance in the client's account throughout the billing
period, after taking into account deposits and withdrawals, for purposes of determining
the market value of the assets upon which the advisory fee is based.
These fees are generally negotiable and the final fee schedule will be memorialized in the
client’s advisory agreement. Clients may terminate the agreement without penalty for a
full refund of HRWM's fees within five business days of signing the Investment Advisory
Contract. Thereafter, clients may terminate the Investment Advisory Contract generally
with 30 days' written notice.
Selection of Other Advisers Fees
HRWM may direct clients to third-party investment advisers. HRWM will be
compensated via a fee share from the advisers to which it directs those clients. The fees
shared are negotiable and will not exceed any limit imposed by any regulatory agency.
The notice of termination requirement and payment of fees for third-party investment
advisers will depend on the specific third-party adviser selected.
Specifically, HRWM may direct clients to account programs at SEI. The fees for those
programs are as follows:
Managed Accounts - Clients pay an asset-based fee calculated as a percentage of assets
under management. The specific fee is disclosed in the client's advisory agreement and
may vary based on account size, services provided, and other factors. The advisory fee
charged by HRWM is included within the total fee assessed to the client. Clients should
review their advisory agreement and account documentation for complete fee details.
Advisor Guided Accounts - SEI does not charge an advisory fee for this program. HRWM
may charge an advisory fee pursuant to the client's advisory agreement. Any such fee will
be disclosed to the client prior to account opening. Additional custodial, transaction, or
other account-related expenses may apply.
Client Directed Accounts - Neither SEI nor HRWM charge an annual advisory fee for
Client Directed Accounts. Clients may incur custodial, transaction, or other account-
related charges as disclosed by the custodian or service provider.
Financial Planning Fees
Fixed Fees
The negotiated fixed rate for creating client financial plans is between $0 and $10,000.
Clients may terminate the agreement without penalty, for full refund of HRWM’s fees,
within five business days of signing the Financial Planning Agreement. Thereafter, clients
may terminate the Financial Planning Agreement generally upon written notice.
B. Payment of Fees
Payment of Portfolio Management Fees
Asset-based portfolio management fees are withdrawn directly from the client's accounts
with client's written authorization on a monthly basis. Fees are paid in arrears.
Payment of Selection of Other Advisers Fees
Managed Accounts – Fees for this program through SEI as third-party adviser are
withdrawn by SEI directly from client accounts. HRWM then receives its portion of the
fees from SEI; HRWM does not directly deduct the advisory fees.
Advisor Guided Accounts – When applicable, fees for selection of this SEI program are
withdrawn directly from the client’s accounts by HRWM with client’s written
authorization.
Client Directed Accounts – There are no fees for this program charged by SEI or HRWM.
Payment of Financial Planning Fees
Financial planning fees are paid via check and wire.
Fixed financial planning fees are paid in arrears upon completion.
C. Client Responsibility For Third Party Fees
Clients are responsible for the payment of all third party fees (i.e. custodian fees,
brokerage fees, mutual fund fees, transaction fees, etc.). Those fees are separate and
distinct from the fees and expenses charged by HRWM. Please see Item 12 of this brochure
regarding broker-dealer/custodian.
D. Prepayment of Fees
HRWM collects its fees in arrears. It does not collect fees in advance.
E. Outside Compensation For the Sale of Securities to Clients
Jennifer Nicole Ross and Erik Huffman are insurance agents. In this role, they accept
compensation for the sale of investment products to HRWM clients.
1. This is a Conflict of Interest
Supervised persons may accept compensation for the sale of investment products,
including asset based sales charges or service fees from the sale of mutual funds to
HRWM's clients. This presents a conflict of interest and gives the supervised person
the ability to recommend products based on the compensation received. When
recommending the sale of investment products for which the supervised persons
receives compensation, HRWM will document the conflict of interest in the client file
and inform the client of the conflict of interest.
2. Clients Have the Option to Purchase Recommended Products From
Other Brokers
Clients always have the option to purchase HRWM recommended products through
other brokers or agents that are not affiliated with HRWM.
3. Commissions are not HRWM's primary source of compensation for
advisory services
Commissions are not HRWM’s primary source of compensation for advisory services.
4. Advisory Fees in Addition to Commissions or Markups
Advisory fees that are charged to clients are not reduced to offset the commissions or
markups on investment products recommended to clients. |
