Item 5 – Fees and Compensation
Our Advisory Fees. Although WSWM has established the below advisory fee schedule(s), we retain the discretion
to negotiate alternative fees on a client-by-client basis. Client facts, circumstances and needs will be considered in
determining the specific fee schedule to be applied. These include the complexity of the client’s planning needs,
assets to be placed under management, anticipated future additional assets, related accounts, portfolio style, and
account composition, among other factors. The specific advisory fees you will pay and the manner in which such
fees are charged by WSWM is established in the written advisory agreement you will enter with WSWM prior to the
commencement of our Services.
Billing Method; Direct Fee Deduction. Generally, Investment Management and Employee Benefit Plan clients will
be invoiced in advance at the beginning of each calendar quarter based upon the value (market value based on
independent third-party sources or fair market value in the absence of market value1) of the client’s account at the
end of the previous quarter. New accounts are charged a prorated fee for the remainder of the quarter in which the
account is incepted or will not be billed until the next quarter.
WSWM will request authority from the client to receive quarterly payments directly from the client's account held
by an independent custodian. Clients may provide written limited authorization to WSWM to withdraw fees from the
account. Clients will receive custodial statements showing the advisory fees debited from their account(s) on a
monthly basis. Certain third-party administrators, if used by WSWM, will calculate and debit WSWM’s advisory fee
and remit such fee to WSWM.
The custodian of your account will independently send an account statement to you monthly identifying the amount
of funds and each security in your account at the end of the period and setting forth all transactions in the account
during the period, including the amount of any advisory fees paid directly to us. Clients are advised that the
custodian or third-party administrator will not verify our fee calculations. Accordingly, clients are encouraged to
Note, client account balances on which WSWM calculates advisory fees may vary from account custodial statements based
on independent valuations and other accounting variances, including mechanisms for including accrued interest in account
statements.
promptly review the account statements provided by the custodian to confirm the accuracy of our fees. If you
believe there has been an error or have any other questions regarding your accounts, please contact us promptly at
the telephone number on the cover page of this brochure.
Our Fee Schedules. WSWM typically utilizes the following fee schedules. However, as noted above, our fees are
negotiable on a client-by-client basis.
Wealth Advisory Services
We use a standard, tiered fee schedule to calculate investment advisory fees. The cost to any Client is based on a
percentage of the assets we are managing. Multiple client accounts from the same household are aggregated for
purposes of fee calculations. Our standard Wealth Advisory Services fee schedule is as follows:
Assets Under Advisement Annual Fee Percentage
$0 to $1,000,000 1.00%
$1,000,001 to $2,000,000 0.75%
$2,000,001 to $3,000,000 0.50%
$3,000,001 and above 0.25%
The standard fee schedule may be amended from time to time by WSWM upon thirty (30) days’ advance written
notice to you.
In most cases, a Wealth Advisory client’s investment management fee includes all financial planning services. If
additional financial planning fees are charged, the additional fees will be specifically listed in the written advisory
agreement you will enter with WSWM.
Ascend Services
Ascend Services are offered to clients that do not meet the Wealth Advisory Client investable asset minimum of
$500,000. Ascend Clients are charged an initial financial planning fee, then a flat percentage of the assets under
management, plus a monthly advisory fee for ongoing services after plan creation and presentation.
The initial financial planning fee varies from $1,500 for a basic plan to $6,000 or more for a complex plan. To make
the planning fee cash-flow friendly, we break the fee down as follows:
• 60% of the total fee billed fee upfront, at time of advisory agreement execution
• 20% of the total fee billed in month 2
• 10% of the total fee billed in month 3
• 10% of the total fee billed in month 4
• Month 5 and beyond monthly planning fee (see schedule below)
Your specific financial planning fee will be agreed to and specifically listed in your advisory agreement.
The monthly advisory fee varies based on the amount of your assets under our management.
Assets under management are billed at a flat 0.75% annual fee, billed quarterly, in advance. The monthly advisory
fee is based on the following schedule:
Assets Under Advisement Monthly Planning Fee
$0 to $100,000 $75 / mo.
$100,000 to $200,000 $65 / mo.
$200,000 to $300,000 $55/ mo.
$300,000 to $500,000 $45/ mo.

Item 7 – Types of Clients WSWM provides financial planning and investment management services to individuals (including high net worth individuals), qualified retirement plans, trusts, corporations, partnerships, and charitable institutions. As indicated above, we require a minimum of $500,000 of investable assets under management to commence a Wealth Advisory Services relationship. For relationships under $500,000 of investable assets, our Ascend offering is an option. The foregoing minimum investable asset requirement can be waived in our sole discretion. |
